Poem to Read When You Are Facing Your Fears

Crippled with fear,

Knees Shaking,

Mouth twitching.

She grappled her thoughts,

As each foot followed the other,

Inching towards the room.

Boisterous laughing on the left,

Platonic smiles on the right.

She searched for the fear causing her discomfort.

Her head began to spin.

Her chest tightened.

Her legs were violently shaking.

Suddenly, she placed her hand on her heart.
